The Weekly Hit and Miss List. #22

Hey there,

So just to start off, I’ve been a big fan of reading multiple blogs where people state their weekly favourites for some time now and I’ve been wanting to start my own weekly summaries for a while. I started one draft in November, which actually didn’t work out with timings and stuff and never got finished or posted. Which is probably a good thing given how late in the year I was trying to start something. As it’s now 2017, I’m going to give this one a real good crack.

I have decided to narrow it down into three things that I am finding to be a hit this week and three things which are a miss this week, just like the kind of things you often find in magazines.

I apologise for the lack of blogs and failing to get planned blogs up on the scheduled or planned day. Hopefully next week shall be more productive, so watch this space.

So without further ado:

(Week starting /12/6/17)

Hit:

1| Finally getting my arse back behind the wheel.

After years of telling myself that this would be the year that I finally get my driver’s license, I took the plunge and booked driving lessons. It took a lot of concentration and I definitely have a while to go yet,  but I enjoyed it and it felt good to finally have something to concentrate on again, see it as a new project and all that. I can’t wait for more lessons next week, and making more progress.  Watch out road! (;

2| Wonder Woman.

tumblr_oqxre7rdYr1r2aobgo3_500.gif

Pardon my French, but HOLY FUCK, this film was amazing. As much as I would like to appear to be cool enough to watch super hero movies (Marvel/DC etc), I really don’t watch those kind of films very often. But, I simply had to watch this film as I am all about empowering women, and Wonder Woman is no exception to this rule. I loved how bad ass she was, saving mankind and actually mostly men, from destroying themselves. She lead the way, she was the hero. I was so inspired by the end. It was fantastic. I will definitely adding that one to my ever growing movie collection. Oh and I have a new lady crush on Gal Gadot, no shame.

3| A nice few days off work.

Yes, I know I need the money, especially as I’m still not being paid as much as I believe I am capable of. But, I have really enjoyed not having to serve people endless amounts of drinks as often as I have done, this week, which literally gets tiresome after a while. So yes, this week I have enjoyed having a few nights off to do my own thing, enjoy the sunny evenings, cook for myself and actually have a proper sit down meal. It’s such a rarity these days.

Miss:

1| Yet more tragedy in the world. 😦

I feel like every week more tragedy is reported in the news. I know this isn’t a new thing, but I feel like recently, there seems to be more and more tragic things happening in this world. I am referring to the Grenville Tower fire incident, but that doesn’t make the tragic stories emerging from around the world, any less important. Speaking of the fire incident, my heart truly hurts for everything that happened. Once again, money is a cause behind human tragedy and loss of life. I hate it.

2| Lots of job rejections.

I am in the middle of the job applying and waiting game and I just feel as if I am not getting anywhere lately. This week and recently actually, I have been receiving lots of emails letting me know that unfortunately I shan’t be going any further in the interviewing progress. Where’s the love man? This is already denting and hurting my ego and sense of purpose.

3|Lack of productivity.

This week job huntingwise, I’ve done pretty well, although maybe I could have been a little bit more personal with my cover letter. That might explain the lack of interviews, but I can change that. But, in terms of working out, I am still lacking. I didn’t even think about the gym once this week and only really worried about my figure after I felt fat after eating a fry-up, which was actually followed up by another one the next day, as well as Mcdonalds. Shocking. I really need to up my game and get summer bod ready.

So there you have it, three things I’m digging and three things I’m not digging this week. Hopefully my life will still be slightly exciting in one way or another now that I am back in England for the time being. I know it’s not quite Australia, but I will enjoy every day, I mean after all, life is meant to be enjoyed.

I’m planning on scheduling a weekly hit and miss list every Saturday. Let’s see how long this lasts for.

See you next Saturday. 😉

* Yes I know that I am slightly late to the party, as in to the scheduled time that I had set for these type posts (as in on Saturdays), but let’s blame a wedding on the Saturday and a lack of motivation. Yolo.

1| 13 Reasons Why.

I started this show the other day/ week, and yes I know 1) I am very late to the party and 2) I definitely could have binged on it a lot quicker, but you know as mentioned before I have to share the TV and work it around dad’s schedule, so it takes a lot longer to get through shows. Anyway, HOW good was Thirteen Reasons Why, I completely get the hype now. Yes I know it’s got some very strong themes of sexual assault/ suicide etc, but I really like how the show highlights some taboo areas, which should be spoken about more, and the acting is suburb. I was hooked from the very first ‘tape’. In a way, I’m sad that I have watched all ‘thirteen’ reasons why, as I was enjoying everything ravelling. It has definitely made me think about all the times I may have been the cause of someone hurting in someway, trivial or not at the time. I just hope there’s a season two now, which I would like to think there will be, as the show has been left open.

2| Pirates of the Caribbean – Salazar’s Revenge.

I went to see this film the other night with my friend Abi/Abster and honestly I was in stitches. I was slightly concerned as the last two films lacked a decent storyline (they were clutching at straws), as well as any comic value, which made the films so enjoyable in the first place – think of the first two and you’ll see where I am coming from. I can now see why Abi, who had already seen it once, was so eager to go again now, because I am the same. 😛 I was laughing throughout, and of course, I loved the adventure scenes that they had, and the surprise at the end, don’t worry, no spoilers here, hit me hard.  If you haven’t seen it yet, DO IT. Also, I went on a Monday, which meant cheap Mondays at my local cinema with my cinematic card, £3.50, you can’t go wrong, but that’s beside the

point.

3| Beautiful beach weddings and very yummy Paella.

A while ago, my asked me if I fancied attending my friend Rosie’s mum Kath’s wedding, with both her and my dad. Of course, I had completely forgotten that I would be spending most of my Saturday on a beach, hiking up and down hills and seeking shelter in a little tent thing pressed up against a shit load of other people. Luckily though, I happened to have both Saturday and Sunday off work, so I was able to attend, and honestly, it was a beautiful afternoon and totally Kath and Jason all over. It was lovely and the rain had even held off during the service on the beach. I had never been to a wedding wearing a bright pink coat before, but needless to say it was very much appreciated for warmth and dryness. Also, as mentioned I had two servings of the nicest home made paella. Beautiful day all round. DB_LVv4XYAAVogw.jpgDB_LhghXcAMXoXL.jpg

1| Catty friends/ falling out over holiday plans.

Now I am going to try not to appear too bitchy/catty etc here, as I generally do think that this is a trait which seems to be a generic part of every female’s genes, but yes, as I mentioned on my blog in last week’s summaries, I was off to Bristol for the evening to not only catch up with my friends Nastassja and her boyfriend Craig, along with my friend Paige, but also to hopefully finally nail down these holiday plans that we had. And yes, I shall admit, maybe I was a tad flaky, but in the end, the apartment that the majority wanted – P and N, was just that little bit too expensive for my liking, for essentially a four day, three night city break to Lisbon, and yes I did factor in the fact that we wanted to go in July. Let’s just say, with the apartment costs, flights, getting up to Bristol, plus food, spending money, tax, 40 euros for the cleaners at the end,, extra costs etc we were definitely looking at a rather expensive ‘long weekend’ and I opted out. Not without some words being exchanged on both ends of course. Of course, we are all still friends and I am actually going to be hanging out with Paige, so everything is all good, it’s just that they will be in Lisbon, whilst it is looking very likely that I will be in London around the same time.

2|Lazy, co-workers.

Again, I shall try not to be too catty here, but my GOD there is just the one co-worker, who I am finding it very difficult to work with at the moment. I just feel as if she’s lazy and does not pull her weight, like at all. For the past few days at work, whilst it has been very busy and we have needed two people on the other bar, I feel as if I have gotten most of the glasses from the restaurant, which is knackering, whilst she has served customers, which is fair enough, but then she’ll go and eat her dinner or play on her phone, and leave me to also put all the glasses through the dishwasher and serve customers. I have been achy and in a bad mood as a result of having to do everything, which makes working late very difficult. When I have asked her to get the last glasses, she won’t, or when I ask her to take her plate to the kitchen, which is what we’re all supposed to do, she won’t, which she does ALL the bloody time. Honestly she’s really pissing me off at the moment, and other’s have picked up on her laziness too, which is a relief I suppose.

3| A lack of motivation/ little things annoying me.

I would like to write this week, or erm last week now, as a lazy one and start again this week a’fresh as I have seriously struggled to do anything last week. Shocking right. Once again I am annoying myself, and this is getting tiresome to write down. Also I suppose, and yes this feeds into the above two points, but yes, people this week have seriously annoyed me.  And it’s just the small, minor things too.

tumblr_ona6m5cGpD1qfcx4to4_400.gif

Hit:

1| Country Music.

I am a HUGE lover of music, in fact I have a tattoo dedicated to music and I now own two 160gb classic iPods, which I count as two of my favourite possessions. I love all genres, but this week especially, I have really enjoyed blasting out loud country music on one of Spotifys’ brilliant country playlists.

2| Sunny days.

It’s a simple thing, but doesn’t a sunny sky make for instant happiness? I love waking up to the sun hugging my curtain, pulling the curtain back and just letting the sunshine light up my bedroom window. You cannot beat it. Of course, hot, sunny evenings has made work hot and hard, as well as a constant reminder that I should be out with friends, ending the day enjoying the last rays and golden sunlight. But, I can’t complain, a little bit of sunshine makes everything better and happier.

3| Waitrose food reductions.

I might sound like a middle aged woman here, but I honestly get rather excited visiting the reduced section in my local Waitrose, scoping out all the delicious and healthy bargains, especially at the moment, there seems to be some really good bargains going on at the moment.

Miss:

1|Failing to get tickets/Ticketmaster changing their policy.

I noticed this a few months back when I tried and failed for Ed Sheehan tickets, but Ticketmaster has changed their policy and I hate it. A few years ago, you could get online a few hours earlier and join a virtual queue for tickets, I should know, that’s how I successfully managed to score two tickets to Beyonce’s 2014  Mrs Carter Show World Tour – my fourth time seeing the Queen may I add, after the whole tour sold out within four minutes. Now, it doesn’t matter how early you get up, the queuing doesn’t open until about 30 minutes before the general sale tickets go on sale because they want to be ‘fair to everyone.’ Meaning it’s even more stupidly harder to get tickets then it already was. Hold up, I’m sorry, but what’s fair is people who make the effort to get up early and join a queue. It’s not my fault people don’t bother going that extra mile for tickets. Now it’s the luck of the draw. They also now give false hope to people, they still allow people to stay in virtual queues telling them it won’t be long, despite the fact that the tickets sold out within the first ten minutes. All I can say is FUCK YOU TICKETMASTER.

2| My sore toe.

I wrote about this last week, but it’s still sore and bothering me, so once again my toe makes the list. At least it’s not as gunky as before and seems to be healing and making progress, so there’s that. It still looks slightly gross, but not as much. A trip to the doctor’s last week confirmed that it was slightly infected. At least I’m not limping around as much, and the surrounding area isn’t as painful as before, as it made accidental knocks incredibly painful. Although, the doctor was wrong when she said it would be fixed within a week, because it’s now over a week, I’m low on medicine and it’s still not there yet.

3| Dad hogging the TV.

I know this is trivial, but this is a small side to dad which really annoys me. Basically I have been waiting all week to sit down with the parents one evening and watch the film Lion, only for dad to be like: “Sorry, we’re watching *insert TV shows here*, despite the fact that it seems to be only him watching the show, and most of the time they’re pointless shows like The Hotel Inspector. I only get a few evenings off a week, I don’t understand why he can’t record the show or catch up on iPlayer or the equivalent.

So there you have it, three things I’m digging and three things I’m not digging this week. Hopefully my life will still be slightly exciting in one way or another now that I am back in England for the time being. Hit:

1| Walks around the Bay.

Every year for as long as I can remember, my friend Paige and I have enjoyed multiple walks around the Bay, especially in the summer. I have many fond memories (and photographs), from some of our many walks over the years. The other day Paige messaged me to say she was finished with her uni assignments that had been plaguing her for months, so we went right ahead with our plans for more walks. This week, I have thankfully had a quieter week at work, so I’ve had a lot more time to chill out and make the most of the rather nice sunny weather. We went for a couple of walks, and swimming this week and it’s been lovely. I’m looking forward to more in the up and coming months.

2| Photography opportunities.

Like the above point, and yes this kind of links in with walks, I have really enjoyed using my camera and just snapping away like old times. Luckily where I live there are lots of photographic scenery, which looks particularly beautiful in the summer time weather. During the walks with Paige this week I have enjoyed getting my camera out and capturing moments. It’s almost been a blessing having a broken phone, as my phone has almost made me lazy, as it’s a lot lighter than carrying a camera about.

3| The new sweet scented Imperial Leather shower gel.

The other week I saw the new sweet flavoured smelling range by Imperial Leather. I have always been a fan of their stuff, but I was equally intrigued by the new flavours, although the marshmallow one was underwhelming. I bought the lemon sherbet one last week, and it’s been a blast and this week I have added the fruit chews one to my collection and I love it, it’s making my favourite showers even more interesting.

Miss:

1|The Manchester terrorism attack and senseless killings.

I’m sure most people around the world would have heard about the horrific events that occurred on Monday night at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester’s M.E.N Arena.
I have no words, but like many others I felt a lot of emotions when I woke up and read about the events that unfolded at the end of the concert. I may not have personally known anyone who was at the Arena, but I have family around the same ages of the people who was there. I have experienced what it is like to be surrounded by thousands of smiling, happy fans whilst watching my idols sing. Seeing smiling faces of teenagers who sadly passed away in this senseless act of terrorism, reminded me of my 15 year-old cousin Lindsey, who lives in Liverpool, not all that far away from Manchester, who could just have easily have been there that night. There was primary school aged children there, who just could have easily have been my 11 year-old cousin James, who also lives in Liverpool. The parents who sadly perished who’d just come to collect their kids, could just have easily have been my mum, who’s always been reliable over the years at collecting me from similar events. Seeing the smiley, happy tweets and excited messages from people similar in age to me, excited to be in the presence of their idol, reminded me of all the times I have been at a Beyonce concert, writing similar tweets, and feeling a similar sense of excitement. It hits home when you realise that you can relate to those poor, innocent fans, who were simply there to enjoy themselves and get lost in the music for a couple of hours, who are now suffering from loss of life, limbs, family members and friends etc.
This week we may have witness the indescribable acts of senseless murder, terror, violence and loss of life, but we also witnessed the best in people too, from all walks of life doing their bit to help. So maybe there’s hope in the world after all.

2| My sore toe.

Of course, nothing this week will come close to what happened in Manchester, but, I still need to write three things. But this week, well actually last Sunday evening whilst cutting my toe nails, I accidentally sliced myself, and a trip to the doctor yesterday confirmed that my toe was slightly infected. So yes, this week my toe has been really painful and I have been limping around work and also, around the hills of the Bay during walks with my friend Paige. It has been very painful though, and a bit of a burden, when it came down to working and also a bit of a kill joy as we had to keep stopping during our walk. Anyway, I have some medicine now, and the doctor reckons that it should be fixed by next week, so we shall see.

3| Manchester United riding their luck once again.

Once again, this is nothing compared to my top miss this week. But, anyway, I’m beyond fed up of Man United once again riding their luck. They’ve had a shit season, everyone apart from blind MU fans themselves can see just how crap they are, and yet they still managed to win the EFL cup and the Europa (two cups Liverpool narrowly missed out on last year), and the Charity Shield, which meant they also over took Liverpool’s record and are back in the Champions League, despite finishing 6th. Gross. This also means that their arrogant fans are even more annoying that usual on social media.  I can’t stand Man U and I can’t stand the fact that they seem to be lucky. They’ve been shit in Europe all year and still manage to win the trophy as they had shitter teams in the cup than last year. Had they played like that against last season’s opposition, there’s no way they would have won. I’m sorry. I can’t wait for luck to fuck off for a little bit with them.

So there you have it, three things I’m digging and three things I’m not digging this week. Hopefully my life will still be slightly exciting in one way or another now that I am back in England for the time being. I know it’s not quite Australia, but I will enjoy every day, I mean after all, life is meant to be enjoyed.

Hit:

1| Reading.

I am really into reading at the moment, which is a really nice feeling as I have always loved books. In fact, this past week I have bought three books in the past three days. At the moment I am really enjoying getting into my duvet mountain at the end of the day, as well as waking up in a duvet mountain and starting the day off with a good book and a coffee. I hope I don’t lose my new re-kindled love for getting lost in new worlds amongst adventures.  I also love buying books.

2|Exeter, discovering new food places at a 50% discount.

This week, I went back to Exeter with my friend Sophie, which is one of my favourite places, and we discovered another great food place, which I may have to write a re-view for at another time, called Ask Italian. It had a beautiful setting, great customer service, although the waiter kept trying to take my chips away on a much needed food break, and amazing food and drinks. The best part though, Sophie had discount vouchers so we got 50% off our bill. Amazing. I love discounted food.

3| My bed.

On Sunday I made the best decision to put an old duvet off the spare bed under a bed sheet to lie on. On top of my new elephant duvet set, which I really love my the way, my bed is even comfier than before. I love how comfy it is, and airy, and light and like a giant squishy wrap around pillow. It’s amazing.

Miss:

1|My iPhone.

Honestly, and yes, I know this is very much a ‘first world problem,’ but, lately, and this week especially, my phone has been doing my head in. Recently it has deleted all 400 odd numbers off my phone, all my notes, and yesterday it deleted all of my texts, so now I am really screwed. But, that’s not the worst of it. The other day it didn’t turn on all day,  another day, it decided to re-set when I was in the middle of the road on my way to work and I couldn’t use it for the night. And this morning, it has decided to not turn on. Now, as I have written on this blog recently, it’s not about the latest technology, but, when your phone cannot function in the way that a phone is supposed to function and repeatedly decides not to turn on and what not, then what is the point of having a phone and spending a lot of money on it once a month when it doesn’t do what is it supposed to do? Plus it’s pissing me off.

2| Dad hogging the TV (And eating my food).

I know that dad and mum pays for the TV license in this house and what not, so I am third in line for the remote, but, sometimes it does my head in when dad gives me a daily time schedule of when I can and can’t use the TV. I mean, watching TV shouldn’t be scheduled down on the daily. Sometimes I wish dad had more things to do in the day, so that I didn’t have to  specifically cater my day around dad deciding when and what time he no longer wanted to use the TV.  Also, I was really pissed off with dad for, not only opening my ice lollies, but for eating half of the box. Like, that’s not cool.  Despite all this though, I am slowly getting through Gilmore Girls, so, there’s that.

3|Customers confusing me at work.

So this week work has been a little bit different with 300+ people in for all inclusive. Which has meant, no restaurant service, and a fair amount of hanging around and then none stop. I’m looking forward to the return of normality, which sadly won’t be next week, because of another very busy week. More on that at some point soon though I am sure. But, yes, this week I gave myself  the biggest heart attack after one of the customers decided to confuse me and it knocked me off my stride for the rest of the night. All because he ordered his two drinks (They can only order two drinks at a time, or one double), and then brought all his mates up and they all ordered lots of drinks for each other. I was then really out of confidence and almost did a major fuck up and print out the huge tab which had been accumulating all night with the all inclusive drinks. Luckily I hadn’t, because management would not be pleased.

Also I know I failed to get to get this one up on time, despite having the laptop on my lap a few hours yesterday afternoon, but ah well, a bubble bath and Chinese called my name instead, so no regrets.

See you next Saturday. 😉

Hit:

1| Leicester City getting knocked out of the Champions League.

This week would have been even more perfect if Man United had also been knocked out of Europe, but I’ll take Leicester being out. No offence, I’ll always support the underdog, but ever since the whole Claudio Ranieri sacking, and how the players started miraculously playing well again, well, I lost a lot of respect for them. Also Leicester City fans have become very arrogant, so it’s hard to enjoy their success. Now that they’ve been knocked out of the Champions League, order has been restored again in the football world, hopefully this has been a one off, and they will go back to being irrelevant again. Next up, here’s to hoping Man United follow suit out of Europe. 😛

2|My mum.

My mum has always been a kind, wonderful, selfless woman, and sometimes, as much as I do thank her a lot, I feel like I don’t thank her enough. For example, she’s always there, unless she can’t, to take me to work even if she has places to be herself, to make sure I can get home, stays up to take me home if I can’t get a lift, etc. Despite the fact that she’s got a life herself and she’s working long days and hours. She’s amazing and I love her a lot.

3|Chinese (and bubble baths).

I have been craving a Chinese for weeks, especially the other night when I was at work until midnight and did not realise that the kitchen was closed so I didn’t eat for hours. So, on Saturday night, on a rare night off as I had a day time shift, I decided to treat myself to my favourite Chinese and boy it was wonderful. On top of that, I got 10 amazing spring rolls. Boom. Topping my night off in style was a bubble bath complete with a great Spotify playlist, and a Gilmore Girls session with mum. Great night off all round.

1| Work messing me around.

I know I wrote something similar on last week’s instalment, only I was really frustrated this week to come into work after my day off, and see that the rota had changed again and my hours had been changed from a day shift to a night shift, without asking me if it worked for me or not. Normally I don’t mind too much, but, it has been happening a lot and I had actually made plans for Friday evening, considering the rota goes up two weeks in advance. In fact, these particular plans had been changed multiple times in a few weeks because of the unexpected rota changes. So yes, I was pissed off, as also, it was Thursday and too late to change things. They might have apologised, but it was uncool.

2| Man United fans. (Arrogant).

I know, I can’t help myself, endlessly scrolling through the Skysports Facebook page and losing a few brain cells, from uninformed, opinionated football fans sprouting shit about things that half the time are either wrong, or hypocritical. Honestly though, some of the Man United supporters seem to be the worst on there. This is another reason why I can’t wait for them to be knocked out of Europe and fail to finish in the top 4.

3| No food at work/ grumpy and shitty customers.

Foodwise, this week seems to have been a really tough one in terms of business and lack of food. For example, last Sunday I had the worst shift in terms of busyness. In fact it was so busy that none of the bar staff managed to eat their dinner, which is really tough given that I had a midnight close, and hadn’t eaten since two. Also some of the customers were beyond rude, disgustingly so. I had one grumpy, rude, old man, who kept rudely sighing at me because I couldn’t find the drink he ordered on the till, and another one who slammed the door on my face when I was carrying a tray of glasse etc. Horrible night, horrible customers and horrible hunger pains. So yeah, not my favourite ever work shift.

Also I know I failed to get to get this one up on time, despite having the laptop on my lap a few hours yesterday afternoon, but ah well, a bubble bath and Chinese called my name instead, so no regrets.

See you next Saturday. 😉

Love, hugs and pugs.

The Weekly Hit and Miss List. #14

(Week starting 10/4/17)

Hit:

1| Simple evenings in.

I have had day off this week and I really am not complaining of course, but, I did realise how much I missed the simpleness of making myself some dinner and watching the TV with the parents. Now that I work evening and nights, those kind of things are a rarity at the moment. So yeah, on the Tuesday, I had a really lovely night in, with a bubble bath – that I never got last Sunday as I was working and a banging Spotify playlist, I was able to cook, so I made myself some homemade sweet and sour chicken, and I also watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with mum and dad – even if dad fell asleep and left half way through, which was lovely as I don’t remember the last time we sat down as a family to watch a movie that we all agreed on, usually dad chooses haha.

2| Playing football with my nephew and dad down the park or in the garden.

My little nephew is six years old, and exactly how I was when I was his age, absolutely besotted with the beautiful game. I think he might be a better player than I was at his age actually. In fact he’s now in the TUFC academy under 6s, it’s adorable. Recently dad and I have had a fair few kick abouts with him, he can’t get enough of kicking a ball around and neither can I, so it’s win/win.

3|Getting excited about homeware in shops.

Firstly, yes I know, I’m lame. Secondly, yes I know I don’t have my own place yet, but a girl can dream right? Recently I have noticed that mooching around in homeware sections in shops make me rather excited, and it’s lame. Also, since when did I get so old? I distinctively remember not that long ago groaning every time my mother would drag me in the homeware sections of John Lewis, Debenhams, Ikea etc. Now I go in there willingly, in fact I even sometimes suggest it, and, I get excited when I’m in there. Like you should have seen how enthusiastic I was getting over a spice rack and a keys peg in The Range with my best friend the other day. I already have some idea of how I am going to decorate my future pad, and I’m not even a homeowner yet.

Miss:

1| Forced Service Charges.

Ok I should have put this on last week’s hit and miss list as it occurred last week. But, honestly, it’s one of my biggest pet peeves. When I say forced service charges, I mean when companies put an ‘optional’ fixed tip on the receipt because they know that people will be too polite to argue it, it’s sneaky really. I will refuse to pay it every time. I won’t give into bullying tactics. Basically my point is, if I want to tip someone, I will tip them because I think they’ve earned it. Also, I will decide how much I want to pay someone. I’m not just going to pay an extra £3 something because they added it onto the receipt. Also for the record the service was shockingly slow and not worth the tip.

2| The Rota at work constantly changing.

I know it can’t be helped, due to staff injuries and holidays, but it would be nice to know what’s going on and what time I am supposed to finish you know. I can’t keep up lol.

3| Being woken up to be told someone’s going out.

Dear parents, yes this does apply to you. Sorry for moaning if you do read this.
Basically a few years back, my mum developed a habit of waking me up early to tell me she was off to work, and she’s started it again. I wouldn’t mind so much, but I work until midnight and what not now, I do not need to be woken up at 8 to be told that my mum is off to work, because I then can’t go back to sleep. :/ Also, a text or a note would be fine lol. Now, dad has also started doing it too, I can’t win haha.
